If you are reading this, you may already be taking the first step toward creating positive change in your life. Reaching out for counseling can feel intimidating, but I believe it is a courageous decision to ask for support and allow someone to walk alongside you through your experiences.
I believe every person has their own unique story, strengths, and ability to grow. As your counselor, my goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment where you feel heard, respected, accepted, and understood. You are the expert on your own life, and I believe counseling works best when we collaborate together to identify your goals and find tools that fit your needs.
I recently graduated with my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bellevue University and am a Provisional Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP) in Nebraska. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, addiction, stress, life transitions, self-esteem, relationships, grief, personal growth, and more.
My counseling approach is person-centered, meaning I value the therapeutic relationship and meeting you where you are. I incorporate approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based techniques while tailoring sessions to your individual needs and experiences.
Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, doing crafts, home improvement projects, spending time at car shows, and enjoying the outdoors in the garden. I understand that beginning therapy can feel like a big step, and I would be honored to be part of your journey toward healing, growth, and greater wellbeing.
“Every person carries seeds of strength, resilience, and hope. Sometimes we just need a safe place to grow.”
Thank you,
