Welcome to Karuna Counseling!  I am Anita Rushman and I am currently an intern through Walden University.  I graduated from Chadron State College in May of 2016 and have since been pursuing my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  I believe in the power of mental health and that our minds have an amazing ability to shape our world and help others. 

I offer individual therapy for both youth and adults through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, mindfulness and relaxation techniques, Psychotherapy, Family Therapy, and Play and Art Therapy that fit the needs of each individual person.  Working with Karuna Counseling has allowed me to learn various forms of therapy that meet the needs of each individual person.

In my free time I enjoy golfing, reading, traveling, going to Husker games (Go Big Red!), and spending time with family and friends.  My husband and I farm and ranch in Cheyenne County and enjoy watching our children grow up in a great agricultural community.  I look forward to supporting the needs of western Nebraska and the great state we get to call home!
