If you are reading this, it is likely that you are already on the path toward a greater wellbeing and you want to know if I might be the kind of person who can support you on your journey. I hope this information helps you to make the right decision for yourself. I believe that we all find ourselves in situations where we could benefit from counseling and I think seeking out another person to share in some of your life is an incredibly brave step to take. When you sit down with me I hope that my respect for you is reflected in the following ways. I will strive to create and environment where you feel heard, empowered, accepted, validated, and honored, no matter what you are sharing, experiencing or feeling. I believe that you are the expert on yourself, your life, and your decisions, so you are in charge of our counseling sessions. I am happy to work with people dealing with all sorts of challenges, from substance use to relationship issues to anxiety, depression, grief, eating disorders, etc.

I am a currently an intern at Karuna Counseling and will graduate from Chadron State College in May of 2024, with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have lived in Western Nebraska for just about 7 years now and my favorite things about this part of the world are the beautiful sunsets and the way everyone waves when you drive by. I wish you the best in your journey!

“One of the most important things you can do on this earth is to let people know they are not alone.”
